The Police Synchronicity CD
Synchronicity is the fifteenth and final studio album of the British band. Released in June 1983, the 11 songs have new wave and pop rock sounds.
Critically acclaimed and awarded at the 1984 Grammy Awards, Synchronicity is one of the 500 best albums of all time.
In 2009 he was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
With this album comes the allotment in the sounds of reggae, attributable instead to the first works. Here you have a more refined and worked sound. Tracks are built by using synthesizers.
Great success is the single Every Brath You Take. Became one of the absolute classics of pop rock.
In the song O My God Sting she takes up in the text some verses of Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, single from the previous album Ghost in the Machine.
In Love Is the Seventh Wave, a song included in his next solo album The Dream of the Blue Turtles, Sting will in turn pick up some lines from Every Breath You Take.
Tea in the Sahara is inspired by the novel by Paul Bowles The Sheltering Sky (known in Italy as Tea in the Desert, from which Bernardo Bertolucci will draw the film of the same name in 1990).
