Guns n' Roses Spaghetti Incident CD
Spaghetti Incident is the fifth studio album by the US band. It was released on November 23, 1993.
The 12 tracks of the album are exclusively covers. These are rock classics of the seventies. Despite the cover detail, it receives numerous certifications including Gold and Platinum records.
The title of the album is inspired by an episode attributed to former drummer Steven Adler in 1989. While in an apartment in Chicago, Adler hid his drugs in a refrigerator, which contained Italian-American cuisine. Bassist Duff McKagan explained that Adler had called his narcotics with a code name, 'spaghetti'. In his lawsuit against the other members in 1993, Adler's lawyer asked them for clarification on the "spaghetti affair". The group decided to use this expression as the title of the album, considering it funny.
Against the will of the other members, Axl inserted the cover of Look at Your Game, Girl as a hidden track. This song is written by the infamous serial killer Charles Manson. The song starts a few seconds after the last song, I Don't Care About You, ends.
