Alvin Superstar 2 DVD + Blu Ray
Norman Spencer and his wife Claire are a happy and close-knit couple. With their teenage daughter Caitlin gone, they are left alone in the large house in Vermont overlooking the lake. Norman works in the field of scientific research, where he is highly regarded and yet cannot free himself from the complex of his father, in his time more famous than him. To be close to him, Claire gave up her career as a cellist but created moments of loneliness. Hence, he cannot help but draw attention to the neighbors' house, from which moans and sometimes screams come. Since doors also open by themselves near her and certain objects change places, Claire ends up believing that the neighbor is a killer who wants to kill his wife. When he meets him outside he accuses him, but immediately withdraws because his wife is there with him. Claire feels weird and debilitated.
Recommended by Norman, she goes to a psychiatrist, and then organizes some séances with her friend Jodie. At the end of another series of strange phenomena, Claire discovers the photo of a student who disappeared a year earlier: the girl has the same chain that she had found in a casket at the bottom of the lake. By connecting all the clues, Claire reconstructs the relationship between her husband and the girl. Cornered, Norman confesses the relationship but adds that he didn't kill her. But Claire doesn't believe him and a game of mutual suspicion begins between the two. Norman attacks his wife while she is in the bathtub, he wants to kill her but is electrocuted by the hairdryer. Claire runs out of the house, Norman regains consciousness, chases her in the car, they both end up in the lake. While trying to restrain Claire, Norman is hit by the girl's body which drags him to the bottom. Claire emerges safe.
