The 5 CD box set with the remastered versions of the two albums + an incredible series of songs: 135 tracks in total, 108 of which are unreleased with live recordings, demo, "alternate", a capella,
different mixes and instrumental tracks
The box set features newly remastered versions of the 1970 albums Sunflower and the 1971 classic Surf's Up as well as 108 previously unreleased tracks including live recordings, radio promos, demo, instrumental, alternate and a capella versions.
The work was done by Mark Linett and Alan Boyd, the same team of producers who took care of the magnificent SMiLE SESSIONS project ten years ago.
The box set in "book style" packaging includes a 48-page booklet with new bio-record notes edited by Howie Edelson, rare photos, lyrics, memorabilia, as well as new and archival interviews with Al Jardine, Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Mike Love and many more.
