Three composers of our time, witnesses of as many ways of living the faith, the great tradition of sacred Christian music and, naturally, the voice of His Holiness Benedict XVI, who recites prayers and sings Regina Coeli; this is the Alma Mater project, produced by Multimedia San Paolo and distributed by Geffen/Universal. A collection of eight songs including prayers, litanies, Marian songs, ethnic music and Gregorian chants obtaining an elegant and modern mix. On the occasion of the launch of the CD, the pieces were performed in London by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the choir of the Roman Philharmonic Academy at Westminster Cathedral, the most important temple in Catholic England. An album that was not easy to produce, with a long genesis which, all things considered, received the applause of Pope Ratzinger - to the satisfaction of its creator, Don Giulio Neroni, head of Audiovisivi San Paolo. CDs and DVDs enclosed in a splendid book.
