The Cranberries No Need To Argue
No Need to Argue is the second studio album by the Irish band The Cranberries, released by Island Records in 1994.
Published in September 1994 No Need to Argue is the second album of the Irish folk rock band of Cranberries. High impact album is remembered especially for the hit Zombie that speaks of the Anglo-Irish conflict and in particular the Troubles in Northern Ireland, song accompanied by an equally strong video, and the sweet Ode to My Family.
The album in general is pervaded by rather sad atmospheres, with few tracks that change completely rhythm with respect to the rest, like I Can not Be With You and Ridiculous Thoughts, in whose video clip a young Elijah Wood plays. Special mention in this sense to the track of closure, the same name of the album, which sees Dolores O'Riordan sing accompanied only by the sound of the organ.
The album was republished in 2002 with the title No Need to Argue (The Complete Sessions 1994-1995) with five additional tracks previously published as b-side of the singles from the original album.
