Jean Baptiste "Toots" Thielemans was a Belgian guitarist and harmonica player. Child prodigy, the jazzman ranged between several different genres. During his career, Toots Thielemans boasts numerous collaborations such as Ella Fitzgerald or Bill Evans.
With his age, lung problems appeared which forced him to greatly reduce his performances. In a witty video Thielemans explains that he tried to play the harmonica anyway, using a kitchen pump; but then his hands started to ache. So he started using an electric hair dryer and now, he claimed, the only thing that hurts me is the light bill.
