Backup - Lorenzo 1987-2012 is the twenty-first album of the Italian singer Jovanotti released on November 27, 2012.
The album collects some songs published between 1987 and 2011 and the unpublished evolutionary tension, Land of Men, I take you away with me (both soloist and with Benny Benassi), Summer (often called Summer 2013, in which he considered a sequel of his song Summer 1992, written with his historic guitarist Michele Centonze and Augusto Martelli, former Mina's companion), Rimbalza. There are also tracks never recorded, live tracks, tracks revisited as You bring me up in solo version and The cumbia of those who change, written for Adriano Celentano and interpreted this time by Jovanotti.
The album reaches the top position in Italy for five weeks and at September 13, 2013 remaining in the top ten forty-one weeks and five consecutive weeks back to the number one of the best-selling discs. It is certified triple platinum disk by FIMI. At the end of January 2014, the collection sold 300,000 copies.
In June the Backup Tour - Lorenzo starts in the stadiums 2013.
