Adriano Celentano - Adriano Rock - CD
Adriano rock is the fourth studio album by Adriano Celentano released on 33 rpm by the Clan Celentano record label owned by the artist, in 1968.
After the break with Don Backy and, consequently, with Detto Mariano, Celentano turns to Nando de Luca, already present in some songs of the previous album, for the arrangements. The maestro, in addition to accompanying with his orchestra, does an excellent job, but the album will still be one of the least successful and successful in the artist's career.
In reality, the disc contains numerous covers, including Don't pay attention to us, Napoleon, the cowboy and the tsar and Boogie time, songs taken from the original repertoire of Bill Haley and his group The Comets, a youthful legend of Celentano. The texts in Italian, which almost always completely deviate from the original topics, are all by Luciano Beretta and Miki Del Prete.
The cover of the disc is divided into two parts: in the upper one there are some colored drawings with the word "adriano" in small capital letters, at the bottom instead a black and white photo of Celentano taken from a television show; in the middle stands the word "ROCK" in capital letters.
