Based on the famous cartoon directed by Mitsuo Hashimoto and broadcast all over the world, the Bakugan series is preparing thanks to Activision to go beyond the boundaries of TV and land in the vast world of videogames, games and action figures. Thanks to a mix of action and tactics, typical of the original game, the title developed by Now Production could become an excellent pastime in the name of clashes, duels and collecting.
Much of Bakugan's success is due to the skillful mix of action and strategy present in a match. Each player in turn places their cards on the game arena, obviously in limited numbers. These magnetic cards are arranged in relation to the strategy to be adopted and will give the Bakugan, who will dwell there, particular powers. Once the cards have been arranged, the player can throw his own Bakugan sphere, representing a fighter, trying to make it end up on one of the cards of the game board; when the sphere comes into contact with the metal surface, the magnet inside will react by opening the sphere and transforming it into a combat creature. The game thus continues in a succession of clashes between Bakugan and the placing of other cards.
