Tangerine Dream Phaedra CD
Phaedra is the fifth studio album of the German band Tangerine Dream, published by Virgin in 1974.
First album of the group to adopt the Moog and the sequencers, Phaedra inaugurated the international success for the Tangerine Dream, reaching in the United Kingdom the number 15 position in the ranking of the best selling albums of the year and obtaining a gold record in Australia (the first of training). Despite this, in Germany it sold only 6,000 units, half of Alpha Centauri.
The title of the album refers to the eponymous mythological character.
