We have a long tradition with the Ritz in Manchester, a place we already frequented as a teenager. Monday night was lindie night, with its particular very hot atmosphere, for us it is a piece of history and we consider the Ritz one of the best venues in the world. GUY GARVEY In the week I was battling Elbow's album, Giants of All Sizes, was climbing to # 1 on the UK charts for the third time in a row, the band played a number of special events: acoustic gigs in Leeds, Kingston and Manchester. Combining tracks from their latest album with a selection of older hits and lesser-known songs, those shows offered audiences intimate performances that once again testified to the extraordinary relationship between the band and the fanbase.
