If I Had Predicted All This. Friends, the road, the songs is a collection by Francesco Guccini composed of songs chosen by the singer-songwriter himself, released in 2015, the year of the celebration of his 75 years.
This collection contains the best of studio albums, the songwriter's collaborations with other artists and colleagues, rarities, and never-before-released live shows, two unreleased ("Then the world will end" from the sessions of Folk Beat n. 1 and "L 'osteria dei poeti ”recorded live in 1974), as well as an alternative version of“ Eskimo ”, recorded (like the one later appeared on the Amerigo album) again in 1978, but later discarded.
The songs of the live CDs were recorded live and never published before in a relatively short chronological period that goes from 1992 to 2010 with the historical formation.
The pieces of the acoustic live were recorded live in Vienna, with the exception of the aforementioned "L’osteria dei poeti" which was recorded and played at the Folkstudio in Rome eighteen years earlier.
