The world that I would like is the fifteenth studio album by the Italian singer-songwriter Vasco Rossi, released on March 28th, 2008.
The album was also sold in France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland and in total, adding CD sales to those of the live DVD (released in March 2009), it sold more than 800,000 copies of 400 000 only in the first 2 days
The album is composed of twelve songs, among which Basta poco, previously available exclusively on the internet, and subsequently in the EP Vasco Extended Play, and I can not stand it, premiered to Rossi's fans during the Vasco Live 2007 tour.
One of the songs, Play with me, sees the presence of the Slash guitar, while in two others the acoustic and electric guitars are played by Massimo Varini. The album also features Vinnie Colaiuta and Matt Laug on drums, Michael Landau on guitar, Max Gelsi, Lee Sklar and Tony Franklin on bass.
The single The world I would like to have been broadcast on the radio since March 14, 2008. A limited edition of 2 000 numbered copies of vinyl has been released of the single (to which another 2 500 copies have been added). The video of the song was shot in Los Angeles, directed by Marco Ponti. 4,000 vinyl copies were also printed on the album.
The success of The world that I would like to arrive even before publication: already awarded as a diamond album with over 350 000 copies sold only by reservation [4] [5] [6] The numbered vinyl editions were the bests sold in 2009 [ 7] [8] At the end of 2008, the album sold around 500,000 copies, [9] making it one of the best-selling albums in Italy in the calendar year.
He is in first place for the first four weeks, so he stays in the topten until the 24th week, finishing fifth in Switzerland. In June 2009 he returned to the special ranking (in 10th place) .

THE DVD :
DVD by Vasco Rossi containing live recordings taken from the two concerts held on September 19 and September 20, 2008 in Bologna, at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
In May of 2009, the album scored 20 platinum records. In addition, it was for sixty weeks in the Top50 CD and for ten weeks at number 1 on the sales list with the DVD .
