Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox The Essentials CD
Postmodern Jukebox, also known as PMJ, is a collective of musicians, musicians and performers founded in 2011 by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee.
PMJs are known for reworking famous pop music pieces in a vintage style, such as early 1900s swing and jazz. Within a few years of its foundation, Postmodern Jukeboxes have surpassed one billion views on their YouTube channel and surpassed 4.75 million subscriptions.
Each week, Postmodern Jukeboxes release a new video on YouTube, most of which is filmed in Bradlee's living room himself. The collective has done covers by artists as diverse as Lady Gaga, The Strokes, Katy Perry, Blink-182 and the White Stripes. Since starting as a group of friends making music in the borough of Queens in New York, Postmodern Jukebox have come to tour four continents.
