Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari - Shake - CD
Shake is the ninth studio album by Italian singer Zucchero. It was released on September 14, 2001.
The album was awarded as album of the year at the 2002 Festivalbar. Nor does it follow a double European and world tour Zucchero Shake Tour in 2002 and 2003.
This ninth album was Zucchero's last album produced by Corrado Rustici.
In this album Zucchero makes extensive use of sampling, that is, the recovery of voices and sounds taken from passages from the past. The goal was to give the new songs a sound similar to certain sounds of the 50s. Using these samples, there is a use of gospel choirs.
the entire Fornaciari project has given rise to numerous awards throughout Europe.
Shake achieved Gold Record in: Germany and Spain, selling more than 25,000 copies.
In Europe and Switzerland it went platinum.
With over 800,000 albums sold, in Italy it has won the Diamond Disc.
From the eleven total tracks that make up the disc, seven singles were extracted. Among these is to remember Baila, the first single extracted, Sento le Campane and Rossa Mela della Sera.
