No L'Opposizione di Uno Furio Colombo
- Plot No The Opposition of One Furio Colombo
In over twenty years of parliamentary commitment, first as a deputy and later as a senator, Furio Colombo has pursued his civic commitment in the form of absolute fidelity to himself and to his own principles.
This volume collects his interventions in the classroom and draws a chronicle of the Second Republic, perhaps of his rubble, through the many "no" expressed in the classroom, in full freedom of conscience.
Faced with ad personam laws, tailored to the particular and disrespectful interests of a democracy, Columbus expressed his denial, argued his dissent, vigorously defended the positions he believed to be right, albeit a minority.
This book gives an account of this tireless civil commitment, in its testimony of integrity and republican culture.
Furio Colombo Italian journalist and writer. Lecturer at Columbia in NY.
